The sudden onset of a health crisis, coupled with a sharp and rapid economic downturn, is prompting us to reassess our outlook and take the time to talk and grow closer to one another. This is true on both a personal and professional level.
We, as French manufacturers of industrial equipment for printers—primarily of adhesive labels—have therefore decided to come together, pool our efforts, share best practices, and support one another to get through this difficult period—for the sake of our companies and, above all, our customers.
CODIMAG, G.I.C, M.G.I, SERAME, and SMAG are committed to continuing to serve their customers to the best of their ability during these challenging times, particularly those working in the food and pharmaceutical industries. And to ensure our customers can continue production, they need our consumables, replacement parts, and the new machines we have coming soon.
We don’t have a magic solution, but we know a carrier, a machine shop, a partner, a contact, or someone else who might be able to help. Some of us are based in various countries—including those that have already passed the “peak”—and therefore have insight into what comes next and the resumption of business. Some of us have stockpiled supplies that others are currently out of. Some have been able to secure masks for all of us.
We all believe that it is by standing together that we will get through this. We are here for you, and we wish you strength and good health.
